Digester cleaning and emptying

Optimal removal of generated sediments

Poor agitation, as well as the sedimentation of sand and residues over the years, reduces the efficiency of the digester and therefore biogas production.

This requires periodic cleaning of the digester, which usually entails considerable losses depending on the time required for the operation.

With our BioCrush & Biopress system, we can work continuously at around 50-60 m3/h, drastically reducing the downtime of the digester, as we carry out comprehensive cleaning between 1 and 2 weeks.

The extracted waste is crushed and can be taken to the plant head, to the sand removal channels or directly to dehydration.

As it is crushed waste, it will not cause clogging problems for pumps or subsequent dehydration systems.
