Progressive Cavity Pumps

Kronoa Progressive Cavity Pumps

The Kronoa® Premium Line range of helical screw pumps features a compact design with a robust double-row bearing support that houses an oil-lubricated mechanical seal. Power is transmitted via a cardan shaft with needle bearings, and in terms of hydraulic design, we have opted for rotor/stator geometries with a large solids passage and high wear resistance.

The design of the equipment has also been optimised to reduce the time required for maintenance work, with a quick-release system and a fully IEC-standardised reducer and motor drive, which not only speeds up these tasks but also guarantees replacement of these components at a market-competitive price.

With all this, and with comprehensive design and manufacturing in the European Union, Kronoa® is proud to offer you a product of great mechanical robustness, with high reliability and minimal maintenance costs, creating a high-quality product that exceeds the industry standard.

Premium Line Suction

Helical pump with pipe connection and high suction capacity (up to -0.8 bar), with the possibility of reversing the pumping direction according to process requirements.

Fully modular Premium design, four inspection ports and a quick-release system, including fully standardised drive.

The Premium series stands out for its robust mechanical construction, ideal for the most complicated applications, with abrasive or highly loaded fluids, with designs that can operate at pressures of up to 36 bar.

Premium Line Hopper

Progressive cavity pumps with a hopper and forced feeding screw, designed for applications with high viscosity and consistency fluids.

Modular design with a large diameter and thick screw, as well as a wide hopper that significantly reduces the possibility of arching.

Our selection of very low speed equipment, together with the recommended control and automation systems, drastically reduces power consumption and component wear, increasing the service life of the equipment.

Premium Line Biomix

Mixer pump for solid and liquid substrates specially designed for codigestion applications.

The mixing takes place within the body of the equipment itself, pumping a pre-homogenized product.
This equipment allows great flexibility in the installation’s feedstock, as it is suitable for handling a wide variety of solid substrates of different types, such as silage, manure, sludge, cereals… even large vegetable waste like melons, watermelons, pumpkins, etc.

Due to the frequent presence of foreign materials in this type of application, the pump includes an integrated stone trap within the hopper, preventing these from entering the process or damaging the equipment.

Premium Line Vertical

Vertical helical pump for suction of high-viscosity fluids, with direct product suction.

The design is made with a pipe length and fixing adapted to the characteristics of the sump, allowing the pump to be installed on a wall bracket, on a 500 x 500 mm plate, or other systems as required.

Additionally, a homogenisation system or a foreign object inlet protector can be installed at the equipment inlet.

Protech Block Line Progressive Cavity Pumps

The Block Line range of screw pumps is characterised by its monobloc design and highly efficient ‘L’ type hydraulic design in terms of flow rate/power consumption, ideal for applications with clean or slightly abrasive fluids operating at low pressures such as sludge, flocculant dosing, whey, glycerine or separated digestate.

The main design features of the Block Line range include a robust cardan transmission instead of the usual connecting rod system with bolts, and a stainless steel rotor with a hard chrome coating to increase its durability against both abrasion and corrosion.
